Australia and New Zealand

 Australia and New Zealand

Do you know real Australia and New Zealand?  I think that there are a lot of things you don't know about them yet. They have a lot of wonderful places and notable history.

Australia

Australia about 7.7 million square kilometers is  the 6th largest county in the world. There are large parts of the country with very few people at all.

Do you know Aborigines who came there first? They have lived there for more than 40,000 years. Since then, it has formed a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural nation while accepting immigrants, and has continued to develop as a "nation."

It also has some great cities, for instance, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart and Outside. Each has different good points and places to visit.

You should know that the relationship between the Aborigines and the British were mentioned as a dark time in Australia’s past. This is still a problem today.

Australia is also mentioned in the abundance of resources, sheep, cattle, minerals, and wheat.

New Zealand

Unlike Australia, New Zealand has a climate, not too hot and not too cold, similar to Japan and there are  a lot of volcanoes like Japan and many wonderful natures.

The young country-New Zealand- was not afraid to try new things. New Zealand is first country to let women vote, it's a notable instance. High welfare and no nuclear is also one of a notable instance too.

There are a lot of places to visit too. For instance, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.

I have to mention that Māori. Māori have lived in New Zealand for more than a thousand years like Aborigines. We must not forget the battle between Māori and Pākehā(the Māori name for white people). Now, Māori and Pākehā sure to be an important part of New Zealand’s future.

New Zealand has a great place for farms because of warm temperatures and a lot of rain. Now, there are 6 sheep per person. It is always looking for new things that they can grow and sell.

In free time, people in New Zealand enjoy eating  hangi- a Māori way of cooking. Speaking of sports, rugby is the most famous sports. Haka is  a Māori dance done by All Blacks, the secret to success.

Cathy Freeman, the aboriginal runner is from Australia. And Edmund Hillary, from New Zealand stood on top of Mount Everest worked with the people of Nepal and Peter Buck who was the first Māori doctor is also famous.

Today, you can find British and Aboriginal or Māori things side by side there.

Australia and New Zealand is looking for new things to do, which is the most important point.

  1. That's a nice review. Next time, please choose a chapter (a different one from your teammates) and write about it in detail.
